Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment as necessary
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner and in accordance with customer requirements
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles preferred
- Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment as required
- Strong knowledge of local roads and routes
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
- Strong communication and customer service skills
